How to deal with the pressures of life…laugh!

There is so much going on in the world, our individual lives and well, just life.  Lately I have felt overwhelmed by it all and then, then my wife sends this to me…

Cup of Tea .

One day my mother was out  and my dad was in charge of me.  I was maybe 2  years old. Someone had given me a little ‘tea set’ as a gift and it was one of my favorite toys.

Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the  evening news when I brought Daddy a little cup of ‘tea’,  which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots  of praise for such yummy tea, my Mom came home.

My Dad  made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup  of =20 tea, because it was ‘just the cutest thing!’ My Mom  waited, and sure enough, here I come down the hall with a  cup of tea for Daddy and she watches him drink it up.

Then she says, (as only a mother would know.. 🙂  ‘Did it ever  occur to you that the only place she can reach water is the toilet?

Karen, Kara and I were driving back from this beach this past Sunday and we passed this truck with these in it…

Pigs in a Truck...

Laughter is a medicine and often it puts life in perspective better than anything else can.  Ecclesiastes 3:4 says “there is a time to weep and a time to laugh…” Make time to laugh.  I love it when God puts people in my life that make me laugh…even if it means laughing at myself.  Heck, I look at the mirror and laugh these days.  If we accept ourselves and love ourselves as God loves us, this is possible.

Have a great day and remember…
